My name is Lee Trengove. I’ve been interested in guns for about as long as I can remember. I had my first real experience with a firearm when I was about 13, shooting rabbits on a mates farm in Grafton, NSW. I got my firearms license when I turned 18 and have been in love with shooting ever since.

More about me
More about me..
My trade
background is quite varied but in 1995 i
started my first apprentiship as a boilermaker/welder for a small Engineering
company in Coffs Harbour. Since then I've worked as a metal fabricator in many
different industries until, in 2004 I got a job as a fabricator in a Machine
shop. I’d always had an interest in
machining and it wasn’t long before I was spending more time on a lathe or mill
then behind the welding shield! My new
employer pretty quickly recognized my skills and offered me another
apprentiship, this time in fitting and turning, which I eagerly accepted and
completed in just 3 years.I went on to
do further training in CNC programming, and then CAD-CAM and was hired as a CNC Programmer/Machinist for a small specialist component manufacturer
here in Brisbane. In the mean
time I had always worked on and built my own rifles and it didn’t take too long
before the idea of becoming a lic Gunsmith just made perfect sense. I could combine my career with my life’s
passion. It took
quite a few years of putting in the ground work, buying machinery, and setting
up a proper workshop, but in 2012,
TRENTECH Engineering was borne.
